Return Of The Jesz!

Well here I am, two weeks after the birth of my son to the day. I’m drinking a beer and enjoying our last day with the In-laws while we relax and watch some TV. The Cigars have been smoked and the sleepless nights have begun.

Its going to take a few blogs to recollect the past two weeks worth of events but I will try to roll them out fast. I go back to work in two days on Sunday so I should have some time to write more while away from the baby and wife. I’ll start from the beginning… (more…)

Olive 2… A.K.A Emma

I already know what all of you are thinking after reading the title, the first Olive only lasted a little over a month! Well the circumstances this time have changed a lot from when we were living in our third floor apartment in Buffalo. We are now basically on the first floor in Charlotte,  a quick walk outside, also Toni is home all day, and this new puppy is about the age Olive was when we gave her away. We also put some more thought into this one and made it a mutual decision.

It all started with us coming home from church Saturday morning trying to think of something to do. We sat down to relax for a bit and ended up eating lunch and watching some TV until about one or two. At this point we started talking about a puppy, don’t ask me how we got on the subject because it came out of no where. We decided to go to Pet-co and just look and see if they had any for adoption. The Hunt is on!

 Well once again we are looking for a house. This time though we are on a mission. Everyone that remembers us looking at houses in Buffalo remembers our struggle to find something worth the money. We saw some nice ones but they were always out of our price range.

This time it is different. Yes we are still struggling with debt but the housing market it perfect for buyers and the low interest rates make it even easier. Not to mention that Charlotte is an up and coming young city and there are a lot of brand new houses that the builders need to get rid of. (more…)
