One+One=Three

July 29th, 2009…a day that will live on in our minds as the day that the new Jesz family received the keys to their first house! And let me tell you, that day can’t come soon enough.

For starters we have been a little annoyed to say the least with our apartment complex. It isn’t the apartment, its the people around us. There are several kids in the area and they like to use the steps to our apartment as a hang out place. So every day when we walk in or out we have to spin and step around and over them. This gets tough when you’re carrying groceries, walking a puppy, or carrying the baby. (more…)

This past weekend my family and I ventured to the quaint town of Brevard, NC for a family reunion on my mothers side of the family. We all had a blast as we always do but of course Toni and I had an adventure that never ends.

The plan was to head there Saturday morning after dropping off our puppy with a friend. I found out that I had a five day weekend and also that my friend didn’t mind watching the puppy an extra night so plans changed to ship out Friday night. I let my friend know I would be there to drop off the puppy at 7. (more…)

First off I’d like to apologize to my loyal readers for not posting in a while, everything has been keeping me way to busy and rather than write and sacrifice time with my family I just chose not to write for a while. I’ll try to get back into writing again though. The past weeks have flown by and much has happened which I’ll try to summarize.

If you haven’t heard MJ died the other day of a “heart attack”. Now they are questioning weather that was the actual cause and the Jackson family, following in the footsteps of their strange past are now performing their own autopsy. Now they are in the spot light so things are blown up a little bigger than if this was not a celebrity but if I died I’d like to think that my family would be a little to upset to be worrying about getting another autopsy to confirm my cause of death. Well here I am, two weeks after the birth of my son to the day. I’m drinking a beer and enjoying our last day with the In-laws while we relax and watch some TV. The Cigars have been smoked and the sleepless nights have begun.

Its going to take a few blogs to recollect the past two weeks worth of events but I will try to roll them out fast. I go back to work in two days on Sunday so I should have some time to write more while away from the baby and wife. I’ll start from the beginning… (more…)
