It Is Time!!!!

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

Well the day is here and yes of course it has been an adventure already. As I type Toni is in the bed next to me, hooked up to all sorts of machines to monitor her and baby. The nurses come in to check on her and she is trying to catch some Z’s.

They are telling us that Brody will be here in the morning. He is being a pain just like his Mommy was when she was born. Getting Healthy for Brody!

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

Since Toni and I found out she was pregnant she has obviously gained weight. I started making sure she ate good, wholesome meals and never missed any, as best as I could. She has done very well and according to the doctor she is the perfect healthy weight for a pregnant mother. I, on the other hand am not pregnant but have gained weight right along side of Toni.

The hospital at first glance was beautiful, outside and in. Clean parking garrage and lobby, Courteous staff, and oh the maternity ward. (more…)

Growing Pains.

Sunday, March 15th, 2009

Now I may sound crazy when I talk about some of this but one would think that with all the technology we have these days doctors would have a better solution to pregnancy related pains than “Stuff some pillows around you.” My wife, God bless her suffers through back, side, and leg pains almost every day. She has her good days when she feels like taking on the world but for the most part is in a constant state of pain.

She is getting close to the end of the pregnancy so the baby is obviously moving and kicking a lot, not much can be done about that. He hits a wrong spot once in a while and give her a little shock but for the most part she doesn’t mind him moving around. Its the pain through out the rest of her body. (more…)
